Close the “Windows Explorer” window
The driver is now fully removed.
Step 2 – Install latest BP-PR Plus Series®
Printer Driver onto your computer
STOP! – Do not connect the USB cable to the PC or printer until you have been instructed to do so.
Install via Windows® XP:
1. Install IP Series®
Printer Driver:
If the driver file has been downloaded from the Bradyid.com website, unzip the file to a known location on your PC
Or
Insert the provided CD into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Plug in the USB cable and power on your BP-PR 300/600® printer. Follow through the New Hardware Wizard by
following the instructions on the next few steps below.
3. Select "No not at this time" and click <Next>.
4. Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" click <Next>.
5. Ensure that “Search for the best driver in these locations.” Is selected, Check “Search removable media (floppy, CD-
ROM…) if using driver disc - OR - check “Include this location in the search” if using the downloaded driver package.
Click <Browse> and then select the unzipped driver folder and then click <OK>. Once the driver location is selected
click <Next>
6. If prompted with a message about Windows Logo Testing, click <Continue Anyway> and finish the New Found
Hardware Wizard.
7. If successful, the BP-PR 300/600® printer should show up Start >Settings (if applicable)>Printer and Faxes. If the
printer is not there, follow the previous steps for removal of the driver and try again.
8. Configure the Driver Settings (If on a Network):
To configure the security settings select Start >Settings (if applicable)>Printer and Faxes.
Right-Click on the BP-PR 300/600® printer driver and select <Properties>
Click on the <Security> tab (If you do not have a security tab you can close this window and skip the rest of
these steps)
Ensure that <Allow> is checked for the Print, Manage Printer, Manage Documents
Congratulations! Your BP-PR Plus®
Printer Driver is now properly installed and the system is
ready to print labels through your labeling software installed on your PC.
Install via Windows® 7:
1. Install IP Series®
Printer Driver:
If the driver file has been downloaded from the Bradyid.com website, unzip the file to a known location on your PC
and then run the file PrinterInstall.exe
