Working with Objects

Note: The coordinates of the upper left corner of the printable area are
0,0. The outer edge of the label is displayed in gray, and the
label you are creating is displayed in white on the editing
window.
To position an object using the grid
1. Do one of the following:
• Select Snap to Grid on the Options menu.
• Select Preferences from the Options menu. Select the Snap to
grid option on the General tab.
2. Select and slightly move the object you want to position. The object
aligns with the nearest grid line.
Hint! You can adjust the grid spacing and display the grid using the
Preferences dialog. For more information on using the grid, see
Setting Document Preferences on page 4-11.
